Privacy and data protection
Privacy notice
Effective September 16, 2026. This notice describes the directory prototype’s current data practices. It supports transparency but is not a substitute for organization-specific legal review.
Information processed
Public researcher and project records come from the supplied research workbook. If you create an account, the service processes your email address, authentication information, consent choices, consent version, purpose, and timestamps.
Why it is used
Account and consent records are used to verify eligibility for professional contact access, document fair-use commitments, protect researchers from misuse, and respond to access or deletion requests.
Contact records
Professional emails and phone numbers are not included in public page data. They are returned only after the signed-in account has accepted the active mandatory terms.
Your choices
You can review or withdraw contact-access consent from Contact access. Withdrawal blocks future reveals. You may also request access to or deletion of your account information there.
CCPA and GDPR context
Depending on the organization operating the final service and where people are located, rights may include notice, access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, and protection from discriminatory treatment. Identity verification and legal exceptions may apply.
Details required before launch
The final operator must confirm the legal entity acting as controller, contact and postal address, applicable retention periods, processors, international transfer basis, and request-response procedure before public launch.
